Today, I went to Maastricht again. While I didn’t go with the intention to go and take pictures, I had my smart phone on me and as I was exploring parts of the city that I hadn’t seen before or passed without really paying attention to the surroundings and the scenery.
Amongst the places I visited, the Vrijthof was one of them; as one of the many town squares not only is it home to a big underground parking, but there is also a pretty big cathedral built on it. Part of the cathedral looks ‘red’ on the outside. Although you can’t properly see it in the pictures taken because the weather was overcast and light conditions were less than perfect, the big tower really stood out to me.
You can see the snaps below. Enjoy, and feel free to share your opinion in the comments!
