Today, I went hiking near Kanne and Maastricht, in what’s arguable the highest ground you can find in the Netherlands. Okay, that’s technically not true. But it’s close enough.
We went hiking in the hills, and I managed to snap some pictures. I tried to avoid taking your typical landscape pictures. My new general rule is that, when sorting my pictures, I can’t tell where I’ve taken the pictures, there’s no point in taking them to begin with.
Our journey took us from the border town of Kanne, to the St-Pietersberg that towers over the Maas and Maastricht, over the “hill” itself back to the Kanne. Good for a solid 9 kilometers of hiking, and a few pictures. Of which the best are posted below. Enjoy!
